Children's Dentistry

It's never too early to protect your child's teeth.

Many anxious adult patients tell us their fear began with a difficult childhood dental visit. We want every child who comes to us to have a completely different experience. That's why we encourage parents to bring young children along to their own appointments - even if they don't sit in the chair, simply being in the practice helps them get used to the sights, sounds and surroundings.

We will never force a child to have treatment. Every step is explained in simple, reassuring language so they understand what we are doing and why. Our team takes the time to listen, answer questions and introduce dental care in a relaxed, friendly and fun way to build confidence and lifelong healthy habits.

Starting early

Good habits start early, which is why we recommend bringing your child for their first dental appointment as soon as their first teeth appear. Early visits help your child feel comfortable and give us the chance to spot and prevent potential issues before they become more serious.

When the time is right, our team will demonstrate effective brushing techniques and create a personalised preventative programme using modern, evidence based approaches to support a healthy, growing smile. We also offer fluoride applications and tooth coloured fissure sealants when needed to help protect against decay.
