Dromore Dental is a modern, forward-looking practice located on Church Street, Dromore, County Down. Just off the A1, we are easy to reach for patients travelling from Lisburn and Hillsborough to the north, and from Banbridge or Newry to the south.

Gavin qualified from QUB in 1993 with a Distinction in Restorative Dentistry. He then went on to complete a Masters in Restorative Dentistry and has his Postgraduate certificate in Clinical Education. Additionally, Gavin has an interest in orthodontics and implants having completed courses in both areas. In his free time he enjoys water sports in the north coast and travelling to play golf.

Rebecca qualified from QUB in 2017, after which she completed her foundation training year at our practice. Originally a part time member of staff she has been full time from 2022. She completed her membership of the faculty of dental surgeons exams in 2023 and has enjoyed further training in both composite restorations and restoring implants. Rebecca enjoys working with all ages but finds working with nervous and anxious patients particularly rewarding. Originally from the North Coast, she likes to pop ‘home’ when she can to see the sea!

Adam qualified from QUB in 2021 after completing his foundation training year here at Dromore Dental. Adam has a special interest in Endodontics and was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics from the University of Chester. Outside of work, Adam spends time with his wife and son as well as training for triathlon.

Elizabeth (Izzy) qualified from the University of Central Lancashire in 2013. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has completed a postgraduate certificate in Restorative Dentistry and restoring implants. Izzy has three young boys which tend to keep her very busy and in her spare time enjoys hot yoga. You will see her in surgery on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursdays.

Valerie is our practice manager and is also a qualified dental nurse here at the practice. She is responsible for the behind the scenes running of practice and you will often see her behind the desk greeting patients and scheduling appointments. In Valerie’s free time she enjoys running.

Leeanne has been working with us in Dromore since 2009 and completed her NEBDN qualification in Dental Nursing in 2011. She has completed her course in Dental Foundation Dental Nursing in 2022. Leeanne is often seen working with our foundation dentist, at reception and keeping the rest of the nurses in line.
